Trade Plate Driver Opportunity – Strengthening Our Growing Business

Merseyside Vehicle Movements (MVM) is recruiting self-employed trade plate drivers across the UK to support its continued expansion. In December 2024, MVM Ltd acquired Simply Driven Logistics Ltd in Leicester, further strengthening its operations and enabling more opportunities for motivated drivers, whether new to the industry or experienced.

About the Role
- Collect and deliver vehicles using trade plates from auction sites, private addresses, dealerships, and corporate locations.
- Travel between collections using public transport, plating, or driver lifts.
- Vehicles may need to be stored overnight at home, requiring off-road parking.
- Drivers will handle a variety of vehicles, including brand-new prestige models and light commercial vans.
- Full liveried uniform provided, ensuring a professional presentation.
- Customer service skills are essential, as drivers interact directly with clients.

Requirements
- Must be over 25 (insurance criteria) and have held a full UK driving licence for at least two years.
- No more than six penalty points (excluding serious convictions such as IN10, DR10, TT9).
- Ability to travel extensively, using a mix of transport options.
- Must be self-motivated, reliable, and comfortable working independently.

Earnings & Benefits
- Average earnings of £1,500–£3,000 per month, paid twice monthly (1st & 16th).
- Payments processed via self-billing, meaning no need to generate invoices.
- Bonus incentives, including a referral scheme for new drivers.
- Full training provided, with 24/7 support from experienced logistics controllers.
