Vista has partnered with Vix Technology and Leicester Buses to make travelling by bus in the region more accessible for passengers with sight loss.

Project Manager Lesia Smaditch said, "We are delighted to partner with Vix Technology on a solution that will make it easier for passengers with sight loss to use bus stops and access the information they need for their journey. We are committed to improving the lives of people with sight loss, and this is just one of the ways that we are striving to achieve this.”

As part of this project, we've also produced a training course for Leicestershire bus drivers so that they can recognise and support passengers who may have a visual impairment when travelling with them.

Recently, Centrebus staff received their certificates for passing the course, and they all look very proud in these photos.
