We can’t imagine what Paul, Emma and the boys are going through right now. If you aren’t aware Paul’s (Quartz as everyone knows him) son Kasper is in hospital having a tumour removed from his brain. This will be a long road to recovery for the family and our thoughts are constantly with them.
Whilst we pray for good news we wanted to do something for the family for when they are all home together fit and well. We are arranging a 5 aside competition on Sunday 30th August between 12-5pm, every single penny raised from team fees will be set aside for Paul and Emma to choose where best to use this money, whether a family holiday, hospital unit or research.
Paul is well known in footballing circles in Leeds and currently plays 4 times a week with us in the Famous Fives Football Leagues and our own leagues which he has collected the top goalscorer in every competition he has played in. We are expecting to receive a lot of interest in this competition which is for a fantastic cause and a wonderful family therefore the hours of the competition could well increase due to demand.
The cost per team will be £100 per team, please message us on here with your team name and contact details and we will get your team entered.
For now the focus needs to be on Kaspers’ recovery and the wellbeing of the family
