🟡What was your initial experience when you joined the transport industry?
When I was first introduced to the transport industry, I started as a UK clerk working for EDG Group, arranging collections and deliveries and assisting customers on TPN. At the start, I found it challenging, as it was all new to me, but my mentor guided me through the industry and taught me new skills that motivated me to improve.
My language skills opened new doors within the company, and I moved to the international side, assisting companies in shipping goods globally.
🔵Why did you choose to study as a customer service practitioner?
I chose to study customer service because I love to interact with people, and, at the same time, gaining academic qualifications would open new doors for my future. One of the things I enjoy the most is speaking to people in foreign countries, as it allows me to problem-solve using my other language skills.
🟡Why do you believe this to be worth the investment for your future within the industry?
I believe it's worth my investment, as I enjoy encountering new people in the UK and globally, learning new laws on shipping, and every day brings new challenges.
I am to reach high by extending my knowledge which hopefully one day will let me run my own international shipping company and maybe one day win an award for being the best at what I do.
