A message from Alan Davie.
TO ALL KNOWN CREDITORS OF AAD TRANSPORT LTD
REF: Begbie Traynor letter dated 17/09/2025
Regarding the above letter which you will have all received, I would like to direct your attention to the section titled “Cash at Bank”, as well as some of the other content of the letter more broadly.
Regarding the Cash at Bank section specifically, the credit balance in the business Virgin bank account was moved to a personal bank account by the Financial Director of AAD Transport. She did this without anyone’s knowledge or consent.
Since Begbie Traynor was appointed, the Financial Director has been asked repeatedly by Begbie to provide records i.e. bank statements in order that Begbie can proceed with the administration of AAD Transport. To date, she has yet to provide all of the information they require despite their multiple requests.
I am physically unable to provide this information to Begbie’s myself as I do not have access nor have I ever had access to AAD Transport’s business bank accounts despite multiple requests to the Financial Director, particularly over the last 2-3 year period. The Financial Director was instructed multiple times that she give me, or appropriate staff members, access while we were still trading. All of these requests were repeatedly denied by her.
I hope this provides clarity around the delays in the administration of the business. Whilst the difference in the wording used in the letter is slight, it does change the overall picture of what is happening here dramatically, which is why this clarity is important.
Other than raising our son, I have no relationship with the Financial Director anymore whether professional or personal. I’m sure you can understand why the comment section on this post is turned off.
Regards,
Alan
