As a company, we strive every single day to deliver one of the best taxi services in Fife, if not the best. That means keeping thousands of bookings moving every week, 24 hours a day, while trying to provide the level of service our customers expect from Kirkcaldyโs Favourite Taxi Company. ๐
But letโs also be honestโฆ sometimes things donโt go perfectly.
There are occasions where customers donโt come out at the time their taxi arrives, and unfortunately this can create a knock-on effect across the operation. While one booking may only be delayed by a few minutes, those delays can quickly impact other customers waiting on their taxi too.
During this time, our Operators are working flat out behind the scenes:

One thing many people donโt realise is how our current phone system works. If all Operators are already on active calls, anyone else phoning in will still hear a ringing tone. After waiting, some people understandably think weโre ignoring calls, but the reality is the exact opposite. Weโre already helping other customers at that moment.
Yes, calls can sometimes be missed because of this, and we fully acknowledge the frustration that causes.
