About You
We are looking for stewards and stewardesses to join our dynamic and friendly crew. You will be eligible to work in the UK and have previous hospitality experience. We prefer applicants who have a luxury or 4* and above hospitality background. Previous experience of a similar role on board a cruise vessel is desirable but not essential. Due to the nature of the role, we are looking for individuals who can maintain a good work ethic and a strong team focus throughout the duration of the season. You should be enthusiastic, personable and professional, as well as exceptionally well presented. This is a role for hard-working individuals with natural charm and a sense of adventure, and who want to make the most of fantastic travelling opportunities around Scotland’s highlands and west coast. If you’re looking for something out of the ordinary and incredibly rewarding then we want to hear from you!

About the Role
Our current vacancies are for a variety of roles in our hospitality crew; these include housekeeping, restaurant and bar stewards, a supervisory role and galley (kitchen) crew. Your role will be flexible meaning that you may be trained to cover several departments when needed. You will receive a full induction and training upon employment including transferable certificates worth over £1000. Your training will include Sea-Survival (STCW95), Fire-Safety, Crowd Control, and your ENG1 Medical Exam*. All hospitality roles are live-in and accommodation and meals are provided in addition to your basic wage. Your wage will be based on experience, but you can expect to earn a minimum of £420 a week. There will be times when you find the role challenging and demanding - during turnaround days all hospitality crew are expected to pitch in with deep cleaning tasks to prepare the vessel for our new guests. However, all roles involve daily free time and our crew particularly enjoy hopping onshore to explore some of the most exciting and inspiring locations Scotland has to offer.

*You will be expected to continue employment with MV Lord of the Glens for a set time upon completion of your training. If you terminate your employment early, you will incur full responsibility for your training fees.
