👏 Congratulations to our FTL Colleague of the Month for April 2026, Andrew Sweeting.

Andrew has been recognised following very positive feedback from the loading terminal, where his approach during the loading process stood out.

Unaware that he was being observed at the time, Andrew impressed everyone with his thoroughness and attention to detail, consistently working to an exceptionally high standard and doing things the right way throughout.

This is a clear demonstration of our company value Responsibility, and a well‑deserved recognition.

Thank you, Andrew, for going above and beyond 👏

We’re proud to continue supporting our community through our partnership with Huddersfield Community First.

Our FTL colleagues spent time at the HDCF Food Hub, helping to prepare and pack essential food supplies for local people who need it most.

It was fantastic to see the team get stuck in, working together to make a real difference. They completed what would usually be a two-hour task in just 29 minutes. A brilliant effort from everyone! 👏

Dominic O’Flynn, Operations Director, shared his thoughts following the session:
“We all really enjoyed the evening and are very impressed by the whole team at HDCF in the efforts they are putting in to make a difference. We are all keen to do it again."

Strong operations are built on adaptability, experience and the ability to respond when plans change. Jimmy’s role at FTL reflects exactly that. 🌼

As Transport Supervisor at our Grangemouth site, Jimmy plays an important part in keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly while maintaining a high level of service for customers. With years of experience in the transport industry, he brings a proactive approach, and a willingness to support wherever needed.

Outside of work, Jimmy is also training towards his 3rd Dan black belt in martial arts — something that helps him stay focused in all aspects of life.

Looking after mental health starts with small, everyday actions.
This week, we’re encouraging our colleagues to take simple steps to support themselves and each other at work:
✔ Taking regular breaks
✔ Setting realistic expectations
✔ Speaking up if something doesn’t feel right
✔ Checking in with colleagues and really listening
✔ Creating space for open, judgement‑free conversations

And if you need extra support, help is always available through your manager, trusted colleagues, the Help@hand app, or external organisations.

Mental health is everyone’s business and by supporting one another, we can make a real difference.

This Mental Health Awareness Week, we want to remind our colleagues that support is available whenever you need it.

Our Employee Assistance Programme, provided by Unum, gives easy access to a wide range of wellbeing support through the Help@hand app — designed to support you and your family, both inside and outside of work.

This includes:
🟡 Mental health counselling
🟡 A confidential 24/7 helpline for emotional and practical support
🟡 Medical support, including GP access and physiotherapy
🟡 1‑2‑1 wellbeing consultations tailored to you
🟡 Financial and legal guidance — and much more

The Help@hand app is available to download on both the Apple App Store and Google Play.

Because reaching out for support is a positive first step.

This Mental Health Awareness Week, we’re reminding our colleagues that looking after your mental health matters and you don’t have to do it alone.

We know that everyone’s experience is different, and sometimes it’s the small actions and conversations that can make the biggest difference. Checking in with each other, taking time to pause, and speaking up when something doesn’t feel right at work and beyond.

At FTL, we’re committed to supporting our people every mile of the journey, and creating a workplace where it’s okay to talk about how you’re feeling.

Because mental health matters this week and always.

👏 Congratulations to our FTL Colleague of the Month for March 2026, Dan Foley.

Dan has truly embraced his role as a Driver Coach, consistently going above and beyond to support the familiarisation training for our new vehicles. From cancelling leave and changing shifts to working outside his regular hours, Dan has done whatever was needed to ensure drivers were fully supported and plans stayed on track.

His commitment and hands‑on approach have played a vital role in getting the new vehicles operational in line with the implementation plan; making a real difference both for the team and the wider business.

This is a clear demonstration of our company value Responsibility, and a well‑deserved recognition.

Thank you, Dan, for your hard work and dedication 👏

We’re proud of the progress we’re making through our partnership with Huddersfield Community First.

From contributing time to hands on support, it’s been inspirational to see our colleagues getting involved and giving back to the community where many of us live and work.

Garry Brennan, Head of SHEQ, reflected on what volunteering has meant to him:

“I really enjoyed getting involved. It was rewarding and uplifting, and giving just a couple of hours of my time to support the local community was a great feel good experience. Being able to help Huddersfield Community First was really positive, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.”

At FTL, we take a proactive approach to supporting the health and well-being of our colleagues — and the people closest to them on , and every day.

We offer a range of benefits designed to support life both inside and outside of work, including:

🟡 Flu vouchers
🟡 Cycle to Work scheme
🟡 UNUM health and well-being benefits

We also extend selected support to family members living at the same address, including access to flu vaccinations — because when the wider household stays healthy, it helps create a safer, stronger working environment for everyone. 💛
