After numerous phone calls yesterday from wonderful prospective new customers wishing to book the lorry and me having to refuse I now feel it’s time to let everyone know what’s happening
On Monday the 8th January I was rushed to hospital and it was explained to me that I was gravely ill with a massive pulmonary embolism, ( blood clot) in my right lung which has put my heart under immense strain, this came from me breaking my leg just before Christmas and getting a DVT in my other leg, my risk of cardiac arrest was very high and I was basically very lucky I was actually still alive at the time
I have spent all this time in hospital and pleased to say I am now at home but under very strict instructions to rest and take things easy for the foreseeable future as my risk of cardiac arrest is still there if I strain my heart or become breathless and do to much.
While I was in hospital the decision was made to sell the horsebox and unfortunately stop running Diamond equine transport, this decision was NOT taken lightly and I can honestly say I’m truly saddened and totally gutted but I have to think of myself, my kids who very nearly lost me and my health now
I would whole heartedly like to thank all of you who used Diamond 1 through the years and trusted me with your amazing horses, people I’ve taken to shows, I’ve shared up and downs with you all, success and some tough times and some amazingly beautiful wedding days that I will always be so greatful for
I have made some amazing friends and beautiful memories and for that I will always be blessed that I started Diamond equine transport
I am writing this with tears in my eyes and feel truly gutted this has come to an end 😔
I hope in time when I am better that I can come to shows and still cheer you on, help with your horses or enjoy being in the show ring judging some of you, but for now I have to rest and take care of myself
Once again I would like to say a massive thank you to you all for your support through the years and the wonderful memories I now have

Another day of fun, laughter and bringing
Magic to people 🥰😍 I was very privileged to take the magical Minnie ponies with Natalie King and Maureen Murphy to the Grand Opening of Behind my chair hair salon and to meet the residents of Hogshill Gardens residential care home in Southgate Crawley.
What an amazing afternoon we had, the ponies absolutely loved all the attention and photos and the copious amounts of carrots and opportunities to lick the lunches of The residents fingers 😂
Such a magical afternoon and i absolutely will never stop promoting the amount of joy, Laughter and comfort animals bring to people 😍🥰
The magical Minnie’s will very soon be available for parties and any social events you may have in mind, so book early to avoid disappointment

Friday fun day turned into Friday wedding day for the lovely Charlotte Nicholson (willis) I was absolutely honoured and thrilled to have been asked to take the Lovely Skye, Charlottes horse to her wedding at Highley House last Friday.
It was kept top secret from the Guests and I think only myself and about two other people knew Skye was attending, Skye was impeccably
Behaved the whole time she was there and I’m sure everyone would agree Charlotte and Skye look beautiful, I must confess to becoming a little bit emotional, as I’ve known Charlotte a while now and picked Skye up as a very different looking 4 yr old when Charlotte first Bought her!
What an absolute privilege to be able to do this and will forever be greatful that I got to be part of their special day 😍🥰🍾🥂🍸🥳🦄🐴

A lovely Sunday at Kent County show with Charlotte Bradnam and Kahlua, taking 3rd in hand and 5th in a large Ssadl veteran class of 17! Qualifying for 2nd rounds for Olympia! 🥰
The judge was lovely and addressed everyone at the end to tell them how hard the judging had been and even if they didn’t get a place that they were all amazing and to continue showing their beautiful horses, was so lovely to hear.
As usual I am super proud of Charlotte and Kahlua, love to take them to shows and cheer them on, they are an amazing partnership and just consistently getting better and better together 🥰🐴🦄🚛💎

POLITE BUT ACTUALLY PI**ED OFF RANT! 🤬
Please do NOT think it is acceptable to call me at 1.30am to discuss horse transport! I fully appreciate my page says open 24/7 BUT this is for EMERGENCIES ONLY and I really don’t think I should have to explain that 🤔🤯
I really have absolutely NO desire to discuss your plans for shows at 1.30am, Yes you did wake me up and NO I don’t think I’m rude or unreasonable for telling you such things
UNLESS your horse is sick or injured at this time of the morning DO NOT CALL ME OR MESSAGE ME AND EXPECT A REPLY!
Of course if you have a genuine emergency I will of course be happy to help you if I can and the lorry is not out on self drive with someone else, those of you who know me will realise I will bend over backwards to help people but this has really annoyed me and unfortunately it’s not the first time it’s happened!!
RANT OVER AND GOING BACK TO SLEEP NOW!

Last night I was honoured and privileged to take Lily Puttick to her school prom accompanied by her sister Skye Puttick, both girls looked beautiful, the ponies Bogie and Chloe were impeccably behaved and it was by far the best prom entrance of the evening and the actual talk of all merstham pages 😂
Hope you went on to have an amazing evening Lily 🥂🐎🦄🐴🚛💎🥰
