You may have noticed myself and Moovit4u has recently checked in at Molineux Stadium, home of Wolverhampton Wanderers football club, twice, once on Friday 27th June and again today Tuesday 30th June, They were hosting a series of talks with guest speakers on the history of football and war, with 100 years of women’s football, Moovit4u’s job was to deliver a picture board with a ladies football team from Rotherwas 1916, to the Wolves Museum on Friday 27th June, ready for Saturday 28th June and collect today Monday 30th June.
We were greeted by Peter Crump from the Museum, very knowledgeable person not just on Wolves but on football over all, and kindly showed us round the Museum and telling us about all the history of all the exhibits very interesting so We like say thank you Peter Crump.
The Picture Board was for a speaker from the Rotherwas Together Clare Wichbold MBE, it was Clare who had contacted myself for this and also a thank you to Rhys Griffith from the Herefordshire Archive and Records Centre, Fir Tree Lane Hereford, thank you all from myself and the Team 😁😉.
