Right …… this is the boy that is coming into us that needs some serious fund raising done for him !
This boy hasn’t been neglected or abandoned but sadly suffered a massive injury a year or so ago from road racing …… he has been rested a year and it was hoped he would be sound ,but sadly after put in a cart a year later ,it was clear the injury is still there and he needs some serious help …..
This is NOT a post for people to give their opinions on road racing , nor for people to be negative and derogative towards us or the people that Rocky has come from ! I absolutely WILL NOT torerate it and people will be removed if they feel the need to comment in such a way !
Rocky needs our help now! And that is what this is all about …. He needs some serious investigation work done regarding his injury sustained whilst racing …. He needs to be gelded under GA as he’s a 6 yrs old and a stallion , he needs a passport and chip , and once we know what we need to do to fix the injury we need to pay to get it fixed ……( we have been quoted £1.2 k alone for the gelding op )
I have a massive passion for fixing young horses that ‘ can ‘ be fixed no matter the costs ….. we would go to any lengths for our children if in the same position and I feel the same for horses that get surrendered into our care …..
This injury was not something Rocky caused and I feel we need to do everything in our power to try and fix him …. Not to race again ,but to have a quality of life and a long life in a new forever home …..
There will be a Go Fund me page going up later because we estimate we need approximately £2.2 k before we start to send him to Endells …..
Please , please support our fund raising for Rocky ….. he deserves a second chance and that is what we are trying to give him 💙
