It's that time of year when families and individuals start feeling a huge amount of stress and kids feel a huge amount of anticipation waiting on Santa.

One of our drivers has recently moved home and as a result, has found a few things that he'd rather give to one of our regular customers kids, than sell.

A PlayStation 4 (slim), two official PlayStation wireless controllers, a docking bay for the controllers, 27 inch full HD curved Phillips monitor, 33 games and a type C to HDMI cable to play your phone or other divice directly to the monitor!

We'd like to involve both the kids and parents in a bit of festive fun so we would love you to post your funniest/best festive videos to this post and we will let the viewers decide who wins.

Well, well, we'll! You heard the gossip? Naw? That dirty wee minx Gemma in the office is up the duff! That's right, she's preggers! No just that, it's with a driver that's not ours!

I'm shocked! Always thought she was a quiet lassie tae! Oh and not just up the duff once naw! Twice, she's havin' twins! So she's been at it more than once and she's only 27 tae! Weins these days ah tell ye! 🤣

Congratulations to her and the big man. We're absolutely delighted with the news, even though I found out weeks later! Two healthy wee lassies!

Now they're considering adding VAT to the cost of a taxi journey! 🤬🤬

Private hire firms outside of London currently do not have to charge VAT on journeys as drivers are classed as self-employed contractors.

As you guys know, we recently moved away from icabbi, onto another system. Unfortunately this has not worked as we'd hoped. There have been a few issues which have taken too long to resolve.

Right now, going forward, we have returned to our previous set up with icabbi so everything is as it was before.

You can use the Cadzow SLPH app to place your bookings, track your car and pay in advance.

The automated service is also back in use too, enabling you to book at the touch of a button.

We'd like to take this opportunity to offer a sincere apology for any confusion caused and would like to thank you for your custom both in the past and going forward. ♥️

The UK government is testing the Emergency Alerts system on Sunday, 7 September, 2025 at 3pm. Compatible mobile phones and tablets will receive an alert, make a loud siren-like sound and vibrate.

If you receive an alert while driving, do not pick up your phone and attempt to deal with the message. Continue driving as normal, staying in full control of your vehicle. You will not need to take any action.

Urgent road closure: Almada Street, Hamilton (westbound only) will be closed between Muir Street and Almada Lane from 6pm Thursday 28 August to 6am Monday 1 September for urgent Scottish Water repairs.

Diversion via Muir Street, Palace Grounds Road, Blackswell Lane, Low Patrick Street, Duke Street, Brandon Street, Union Street and Almada Street. Eastbound (Beckford Street to Bothwell Road) will be open to all traffic.

At Cadzow Cars, our customer satisfaction is our priority.

It's you folks that keep us all in business so your thoughts and feedback, regardless of how minor you might think it seems, absolutely matter.

If you're in one of our cars and for any reason are not happy about anything, we urge you to contact us whilst in the car. That way we can contact the driver direct.

We appreciate that we can't satisfy every customer, every time. Like any other company but your feedback is vital to us in order for us to maintain our high quality of service and to continue to improve it.

Whilst we treat every complaint as serious. Some complaints should go directly to the police and local council.

In making such complaints, please be aware to take notes of the vehicle you're in such as make, model and colour.

Also take notes on the "plate" numbers which are on the front side and rear of the car.

Any complaints to Cadzow Cars are treated with total confidentiality. Should you complain about a driver, that driver under no circumstances is given your details.

In the event that your complaint is upheld. Actions will be taken.
