Today we went to Daresbury Fun Ride with Ebs and Jess. Obviously with the M56 shut it was a pending nightmare but all ok on the back routes thankfully.
The girls and their ponies had a great time.
And for those that think they need to know the van was within its weight limit and passengers travelled in their own cars, same as the last Bridgwater show I attended.
Tomorrow is Hoof Logistics 4th year anniversary and I’m sad to announce I will no longer be transporting. 😢
I’ve had an amazing 4 years taking my little van up and down the country to lots of different places and meeting so many lovely people and horses. Some people who are now good friends.
But with the cost of insurance to cover myself for liability etc it’s a lot of jobs to do just to cover that cost not including fuel, time, cleaning, maintenance etc.
With my new job (full time not transporting) offering more overtime than my previous job it is easier to do that than transport unfortunately.
I wish everyone much fun with their horses and I will take my weekends back and enjoy my own horse a bit more too.
