Matt's Cars, (formerly Skyline) now has a new number to take bookings for taxi journeys. Currently we are running on limited availability, whilst we get up and running, so journeys will need to be pre-booked in advance. Taking local work & Airport bookings. Please call 07908571827 from 4.30am until 4.30pm Monday to Friday for a quote. Alternatively, you can message us here and we will get back to you ASAP.

⚠️ Notice to customers ⚠️

From Monday November 29th, Portsmouth will be operating a Clean Air Zone (highlighted on the image below) which is applicable to taxis/private hire vehicles that enter this zone. Unfortunately, due to the extra costs this will put onto our drivers, this means that any bookings that require our drivers to enter this zone will be charged extra to cover these costs. We do apologise for any inconvenience, however this is something that we cannot avoid 😞

There is a park and ride facility outside of central Portsmouth which we will be happy to drop at if this is a better option for passengers.

Morning folks!

Just a quick message to say, please bare with us this weekend. With the mayhem of the fueling situation, roads are already busy and travel is slow.

Also, we have the Festival in Lee-on-the-Solent, as well as the Michaelmas Fayre in Alverstoke today and the motorway closures between Jct 9 and 11 over the whole weekend. We have practically everything going against us for slow travel so your patience and understanding is greatly appreciated.

🚖 DRIVERS URGENTLY WANTED 🚖

We are currently looking for drivers to join our fleet:

- Immediate starts
- Part time and full time positions available; days, evenings and weekends
- Owners, commission (50%) and lease drivers all welcome
- Hackney and/or private hire licensed

As we are currently only satisfying approximately half of our answered calls for bookings, we are unfortunately turning away a lot of our new and long standing customers. We need your HELP to help meet our customers needs!

We are offering introductory office rent to owners up until mid September 2021;

- Weekday shifts - £90 per week
- Evening and weekend shifts - £60 per week
- A mixture of the above can be discussed

We are also happy to accommodate any drivers that may want us to work around them with their current business obligations e.g. airport transfer businesses, hackney carriage work, private school runs etc. We can discuss commission based earnings to suit your needs.

Our airport transfers are offered on a rota basis. If you are interested in having a HCC contracted school run we will actively seek one for you and discuss with you the costing of the contract.

If you are interested or have any questions, either speak to us or to any of our drivers. If you want to pop into the office, we can show you how we operate front of house as well as behind the scenes. We are a fully transparent team who can answer any questions or concerns you may have.

All drivers at Skyline are NVQ/BTEC qualified & have an enhanced CRB.

Skyline are available for all local work in and out of the borough, airports, long distance, club runs, business account and courier service.
