We see it all the time—someone’s booked vehicle transport, then they realise their car is basically a drawer-on-wheels (personal items, loose bits, even half-eaten mints). And that’s when stress starts doing laps around the bonnet.

Before we collect, here’s what to prep so your vehicle travels clean and safe:

Remove personal items, bags, and loose accessories.
Check fuel level and document any existing marks or damage.
Secure the obvious stuff: wing mirrors, number plates, and anything that could rattle.
If it’s a hybrid or EV, make sure your battery/vehicle condition info is ready for handover.

Flashing = get to safety.

Hybrid/EV twist most diagrams miss: if you see an EV/hybrid warning plus reduced power, don’t keep pushing it “just to get home.” That’s how a “monitor” turns into a “call us.”
