Sometimes a little of your time can mean a lot to someone else. ❤️

For some older and disabled people, getting to an important health appointment isn’t always easy.

That’s where our volunteers can make a difference. 🚐

We’re looking for people with a full driving licence who would like to volunteer with Community Transport Glasgow to support a project which just keeps grown.

You could help someone get where they need to go while becoming part of a friendly local team.

Are you a parent living in Glasgow and looking for a new career in the transport sector? 💼

Community Transport Glasgow are offering a fantastic Driver Training & Employment Programme with just 10 places available!

✨ What you could receive:
✅ 6 months’ paid employment at the Glasgow Living Wage
✅ Opportunity to gain a Category D or D1 driving licence
✅ MiDAS & CPC Customer Service training
✅ Practical work experience
✅ CV, application & interview support
✅ 1-to-1 mentoring
✅ ZoneCard & training-related travel expenses paid
✅ Links to employers and transport-sector opportunities

📋 Who can apply?
• Live in Glasgow
• Be a parent from a low-income household, employed or unemployed
• Be aged 21+
• Have the right to work in the UK
• Hold a full UK manual driving licence for at least 2 years
• Want to build a career in transport

Geeza Break's ASN Peer Support Group offers a safe space to share experiences, gain support, and build meaningful connections with other parents and carers.
No Childcare? No problem - Geeza Break can offer childcare for pre-school aged kids to allow for you to attend the group.

We are always looking for volunteer drivers to help with our growing need for hospital transport for vulnerable and elderly members

Even a few hours a month could help someone in need of hospital transport, all we require is:

✔ Hold a full UK driving licence
✔ Are willing to drive their own car or one of our vehicles
✔ Are friendly, caring and helpful towards passengers

🎄 Christmas Day Lunch – Everyone Deserves a Hot Meal & Company At Christmas 🎄

The Halliday Foundation will be hosting a free 3-course Christmas lunch on Christmas Day from 12pm to 2pm at Reidvale Neighbourhood Centre (13 Whitevale Street, Glasgow, G31 1QW).

If you’ll be spending Christmas on your own or are finding things difficult this year, we’d love for you to join us for a warm meal, festive cheer, and friendly company. ❤️
