This weeks work

Two Canters going for export from Glasgow down to Biggleswade then onto Poland

Return journey saw us collecting a mini screener from engineering to Motherwell, a buggy and quad to a customer in Carlisle and then a military forklift all the way to Oban from Doncaster

Thank you once again to all customers old and new for the continued support

Tomorrow we will be heading to the highlands with a tractor

Busy couple of days

Two Subarus being swapped from Falkirk down to Bolton for a lovely Audi S4. Audi transported by us back up to Scotland due to customers work commitments

Next another job for SHC Commercials ltd, could we pick up a set of summers lifts from Doncaster but no way to load them. So we used our very own forklift transported down from central Scotland just to make sure there was no hiccups/delays as these lifts are now a huge asset to Stephen’s Business and needed them right away.

A small part load for Mark back to his depot in Grangemouth from euro auctions (in and out of euro auctions within 25 mins must be a record)

We will move anything anywhere and could offer the use of a forklift on collections\Deliverys if necessary

Well what a half week that was

Wiring harness and abs harness ripped off the trailer Monday/Tuesday due to the slack being placed along side where the fifth wheel sits but now been rectified properly with help from SHC Commercials ltd

Wednesday saw us collecting two vehicles from bellshill which were both non runners meaning winched onto the trailer. And a brand new Hi Spec water tanker collect from west Linton golf club

The water tank was delivered to York and then unfortunately we had a date with Bambi who destroyed the lower cab corner piece. This halted our progress any further on Wednesday night.

Thursday saw the delivery off the two vehicles and a new cab corner piece installed. Quickly along to euro auctions to collect a fair few items for a new customer and then headed to Bolton to collect a forklift heading for Kinross

Fridays delivery’s all dropped off without a hitch and a vehicle collected from mot at Pla Automotive Limited Bathgate heading back to our yard to be cleaned up and sold

Little late but two jobs completed Monday

One for kneaded moving a vehicle to site in Stockbridge for a food festival for the next twelve weeks

And next a job for Ben who had been after a classic jeep for years and finally managed to find a cheaper crashed damaged one to restore to its former glory

Truck will be heading to Leeds today

What started out as quiet day yesterday ended up becoming a little busier

Due to a customer being let down we made arrangements to pick up this screener from the East Lothian area back to the central belt of Scotland. 19ton of old engineering still willing to put a decent shift in

Next was a phone call from SHC Commercials ltd asking us (or should I say daring us!) to go pick this Subaru up from a residential street in Grangemouth. Naturally we will accept any challenge to keep customers/business going. A few twitches from the curtains off the neighbours at the site of a artic outside there house we loaded the car that hadn’t moved for sometime with the winch and delivered to SHC new premises in Falkirk
