Q. Unfortunately not, we are only insured for drivers over 22. I’ve not long passed my test, can I drive the horsebox? Drivers must have passed their test for over two year. I have points on my license, is that an issue? A. 3 points is ok, but you can’t drive the horsebox if you have over 3 points. Can more than one driver be insured to
drive? As long as they meet all the requirements, yes. Can I drive the horsebox on my normal license or do I need to have a C1? The horsebox can be driven on a normal car license. Is there a mileage restriction for hires? Yes, 200 miles per hire for full and half day hires. Please let us know if you anticipate covering more than 200 miles. Do you charge extra per mile if I go over the 200 miles? Yes, if you anticipate you will go over 200 miles please let us know so we can discuss a rate in advance. How much is the security deposit and when will I get it back? The security deposit is £100. The deposit will be returned as soon as a final inspection is done on the horsebox and we are happy that it has been returned in original condition. Do I have to return the horsebox clean?
