Every now and then I receive a phonecall/email and the person starts with "Your driver" after a deep breath I'm ready for the insult, complaint, negative speech that follows!! A lot of the time it's the wrong McCann and I take great pleasure in telling them so 🤣
Today the phone rang and I thought here we go, I'm pleased to announce a delivery we did today was so well received by the lady she took time out of her day to tell me, after recent shoulder surgery she was unable to even open her gate but our driver was more than happy to help and get the goods to her, fantastic to hear especially on a Friday so shout out to our Van driver Shaun and this award is just for you 👊💪👏👏🚛🚛 Oh and congrats on becoming a Grandad this week 😊

Once again our commitment to support Grassroots sport continues, this also coincides with a new club for McCann junior, joining the U13 girls playing in the Russell Foster Premier league this season, nice 4-2 cup win yesterday, good luck for the season girls ⚽⚽💛💚

Busy old week on both sides, driver off so out on the road all week for me, need a week at my desk to recover 🫣 fuel is now at a record high in my 30 years in business, quick calculations means a small business like ours needs another £182000 a year to fuel the trucks, companies going bump right left and centre! Uk Government?? Never done anything before so don't expect anything now, it's a massive vicious circle, our costs have risen by 50% we pass this on where we can to our customers, but it's never well received and doesn't actually cover the full amount, this then makes them push their costs up which in turn hits Joe Public in the pocket, inflation? Are we surprised, government raking it in with the extra taxes on what is now 50% higher on fuel than start of the year and yet no support!! It's ok though you can ride the bus in Manchester for 2 quid and we all saved £40 a year on our heating bills with the Vat reduction.

Anyway broken the double digits barrier, 98 days till Christmas and the McCann family holiday, we may not come back 😁🚛🚛🚛🌲🎄🦌⛄🎁🎁
