Tony’s Cabs are looking for a taxi controller to join our busy and expanding taxi firm.
Hours negotiable, but must be flexible and will include some evening / weekend work.
Ideally candidates should have some experience in this field of work, however this is not essential if you can show the right attitude and enjoy working in a busy office environment.
Training will be provided.
Must be happy to work weekends. Immediate start available, on completion of training.
Job Description:
* Taking telephone calls from customers
* Taking immediate and advanced bookings, including out of town trips.
* Dealing with customer enquiries & complaints.
* General office duties.
* Cleaning duties.
* Good computer skills.
Skills Required:
* Good common sense.
* Good hearing and a clear telephone voice.
* A confident and polite telephone manner.
* The ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* The ability to deal with difficult calls in a calm and professional manner.
* Good time-keeping and reliability.
* Positive attitude towards work.
* The ability to work individually and as part of a team.
* Knowledge of the Frome and surrounding area is desirable.
* Good IT / Computer Skills.
* Have great attention to detail and accurate recording of information.
* Solve problems with driver and customers.
* Must be proactive and use their initiative at all times.
* It is essential that you are reliable with good time keeping and also flexible as extra hours will sometimes be required for holiday cover.
* Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage time effectively.
Full-time hours available and negotiable.
Salary - national minimum wage.

* 8/9 hour shift
* Day shift
* Night shift
