🚧 Service 75 & 902 Diversion - Tarn Road 🚧

Due to roadworks, Tarn Road in Thornton is closed.

Service 75 will be using Sunningdale Drive (74 route) in both directions until further notice.

School service 902 will use Lambs Rd and Station Rd due to low trees on Sunningdale.

This closure has started early so service 75 is diverting as below until Friday 5th June.

🚧 Service 75 Diversion - Cleveleys 🚧

09:00 on Monday 1st June to 17:00 on Friday 5th June

Due to roadworks in the centre of Cleveleys, we cannot turn right over the tram tracks to head towards Fleetwood.

Service 75 to Fleetwood will divert via North Drive - Anchorsholme Ln East - Fleetwood Rd/Crescent West to pick up normal route at Victoria Square.

Service 75 to Preston is unaffected.

🛞🚍 FANCY JOINING THE TEAM 🚍🛞

We currently have a vacancy for a PCV Driver to join our Schools and Private Hire team based from our depot in Fleetwood.

We are looking for someone who can think on their feet, is a people person, enjoys driving and most importantly is nice and friendly 😁

Our fleet varies from School Buses, College Runs, Rail Replacement, Private Hires, Overnight Trips and so much more. We have everything from 19 seat Minicoaches, 34 to 72 seat executive coaches and our fleet of Double Decker Buses that are mainly used on Home to School runs.

We work 7 days a week, 364 days a year. Weekends are not optional but are shared out equally between everyone to make it fair. You can get plenty of hours in during the week between driving, washing buses, helping out round the yard, anything to pass the day really.

We try and let our staff have a good work life balance and work round you whereever we can, that said we are incredibly busy at the moment so we need people who want to work and enjoy what they do. We do our best to make it an enjoyable place to work and you need a good sense of humour to work with us.

You would be required to either have a current DBS Badge or be able to apply for one through us. You will need a Full Cat D License and a Tacho Card would be advantageous. (Sorry no trainees at the moment, qualified staff only please)

Due to roadworks on Longhouse Lane, service 75 is diverting via High Cross Rd in both directions until 15:00 today.

💙 CHARLIES CONVOY 2026 💙

We are pleased to unveil our advert for Charlies Convoy 2026 that will be riding around the Fylde Villager routes going forward in support of this amazing cause and all those who help put the event together.

For anyone at a loose end today, Charlies Convoy Family Fun Day starts at 10am where there will be static displays of HGVS, Vans, Cars and Motorcycles. Childrens entertainers and rides, various food and drink stalls, Ice Cream and performances from some local acts all preceed the main event, The Convoy which leaves the showfield approximately 7pm to do the usual route through Inskip, Catforth, Bartle, Salwick, Treales, Elswick and Gt Eccleston.

To access the showfield you can use our 74 or 78 services and ask the driver to get off at Great Eccleston.

🛠 FITTING WEEK 🛠

Following our recent award winning weekend in Blackpool, it is very fitting that the IRTE Northern Centre shared our post with it's members as this week we have undergone our periodic IRTEC Audit on our workshop and technicians and we are pleased to announce they all passed with flying colours and are now certified to repair our vehicles and external customers vehicles to the highest standards once again 🌟

The Institute of Road Transport Engineers (IRTE) is the most recognised industry based standards scheme in the Road Transport Sector and they have various meetings, seminars and courses to upskill engineers and technicians within our industry and give recognised qualifications and Continued Professional Development to those who join.

We have always been proud supporters of the IRTE Northern Centre and every one of our Technicians is fully IRTEC Certified.

🚧 School Service 509 Diversion - Winmarleigh 🚧

Due to roadworks on School Lane, Winmarleigh, the service 509 will be diverting between Tuesday 21st April and Wednesday 29th April.

The bus will use Broad Lane to get to Winmarleigh Primary school, where pupils along School Lane will need to walk down to for the bus.
