🚨 Could You Make a Mayday Call Under Pressure? 🚨

Whether you're sailing, powerboating, cruising or planning adventures further afield, a VHF radio is one of the most important pieces of safety equipment on board.
Join us on Sunday 14th June for the RYA Short Range Certificate (SRC) VHF Radio Course and gain the knowledge and qualification needed to operate marine VHF radios legally and confidently.

You'll learn:
• Routine, distress, urgency and safety communications
• DSC functions
• Setting up and using a VHF radio correctly
• Hands-on radio practice with realistic scenarios
• Rules and regulations governing radio use

The course includes the RYA training and prepares you for the SRC assessment.

Our RYA Level 2 Basic Skills course is running on 4th & 5th June,and we still have spaces available!

This two-day practical course is ideal for anyone who has completed RYA Level 1, or has some sailing experience and wants to become a more confident, independent sailor.

Over the two days you'll learn how to:

* Sail in all directions
* Launch and recover a dinghy safely
* Improve your boat handling and control
* Make your own decisions on the water with confidence

By the end of the course, you'll be well on your way to becoming a self-sufficient sailor and ready to enjoy time on the water with friends and family.

We had the great pleasure of hosting Forres Academy, Moray for two mornings this week, as part of their Activity Week. It is safe to say they thoroughly enjoyed the sunshine and sailing time 😎😎⛵️⛵️ Even one of the teachers, Mr Oliver, got completely involved!
We look forward to seeing them again either next year or at the After School Sailing Club we will be running for Forres Academy in the autumn term.
