In all my 30 years as a police officer having been involved in some really challenging situations & events I can honestly say a thank you or gesture of appreciation were very few and far between. Even when you did get something , you weren't allowed to accept it.

These arrived last week completely unexpected from a family who'd broken down on the A31 nr Ringwood in Hampshire on Valentines Day , with their car packed to the rafters on route to Gatwick Airport for their holiday .

I was at home with my partner & son for a rare day off but I was on route within minutes of the call to get these guys to LGW with a couple of hours to spare.

Thank you so much to Adrian & his lovely family for thinking of the impact on my family that day but it's what we do for our clients without hesitation. We're so pleased you were all able to eventually relax & enjoy a fantastic trip away ⛷️☀️
