Today, the Whiteley Removals team had the delicate task of moving a beautiful piano.
These aren't just heavy; they require extreme precision and care to ensure no damage comes to the instrument or the property.

Here's how we tackle a piano move:

Careful Assessment: We first evaluate the piano's size, weight, and the pathways at both the old and new locations, planning every step.

Protection is Key: The piano is meticulously wrapped in specialist padding and protective covers to shield it from bumps and scratches.

Specialised Equipment: We use purpose-built piano trolleys and moving boards to safely maneuver it, especially over tricky thresholds and around corners.

Teamwork and Technique: It's all hands on deck! Our trained team works together, using specific lifting and handling techniques to distribute the weight and maintain control, especially on stairs or tight spaces.

We all know flats can be trickier than houses with all those stairs! Each flight requires extra care and precision, especially with larger items, making the move take a bit longer – but we always get the job done right. 💪

​Packing and Loading Maestros: Meanwhile, the other two are precisely packing and loading items into our vans, making sure everything is secure and optimised for space.

​This coordinated effort ensures a smooth and quick process, getting our customer settled into their new home faster.
It's all about precision, planning, and perfect synchronisation!

Even on our one-van jobs, we ensure we have at least three people on site to guarantee efficiency and, most importantly, the correct and safe handling of your belongings.

What a day for the Whiteley Removals team! 🚚🚚🚚 Our three trusty vans were out and about today, helping with a big house move. We took extra special care of a beautiful garden, carefully transporting over 40 flower pots and even a unique tree imported all the way from Southern Australia! 🌳🌸 Moving made easy and with a smile!
