📍Glasgow & Edinburgh Airport Drop Off Price Change📍

Whilst we aim to keep our prices very competitive for both the 8 seater and cars, we have seen various rumours going over Facebook that the drop off & pickup fees are changing at both Glasgow Airport & Edinburgh Airport.

Part of the rumour is correct and it is only Glasgow Airport that is increasing their price from £5.00 to £5.50 for 15 minutes. Edinburgh Airport is remaining at the current price of £5.00.

Please note this is not our doing these drop off & pickup charges are set by the airport and as much as we don’t agree with them at times we have no control over the price of them.

On another note we will not charge you any extra fees for booking with us.

🚕 Falkirk Taxi Tariff Update 🚕

From the 1st December 2023 the council have updated the taxi fares for the falkirk area and additional charges for the Falkirk area.

Below is the Tariff Sheet from the council indicating the maximum fares that can be charged in a licenced taxi across Falkirk.

The changes you will see is that during Christmas and New Year the fare on the meter will start at £6.00 and increase in 40p increments. The public holidays have been removed so you will no longer be charged tariff 2 during the day on these dates.

Just to give people an indication on roughly how much you will be paying over the festive dates, we metered 3 seperate test journeys to see what the cost would be.

(Please note no passengers were charged this on any hire and this was for test purposes only, all our meters are set to the correct tariff as set out by the council and have been tested by the council and sealed)
