Edinburgh Airport is Scotland's first airport to lift the 100ml liquid limit, thanks to new top-of-the-range security x-ray technology.

Now you can:

✅ Keep liquids in their bags when going through security, and those liquid containers can now be up to two litres each.

✅ Keep large electricals, such as tablets and laptops, in bags.

A smoother, faster experience through security.

The Burns monument is situated on Regent Road at the Southerly foot of Calton Hill looking out to Arthur's seat in Holyrood Park (not to be confused with the Burns Monument Centre in Kay Park, Kilmarnock, Ayrshire).

The monument overlooks the Canongate graveyard, which is the final resting place of the poet's close friend, Mrs Agnes Maclehose, referred to by Burns in his letters and poems as 'Clarinda'.
