At United Taxis Dumfries we take customer safety serious and with this we have introduced yet another new feature.

When you get a text to say the driver is on their way which shows the name of driver and registration we have now added a link which allows you to check our drivers profile including their picture.

This ensures when our driver arrives you already know what they look like as well as the car details.

We want all our customers to feel safe when they use our company 💪🏻

We listened when it come to our website and understood what people said. So work has been ongoing on our new design , new look system which we hope to see go live tomorrow.

AI voice ( automated booking ) has had further updates tonight not easy to train AI to learn 😂
Phone system recently had an update ( hold music will be changing soon )
Driver booking system upgraded
Messaging system upgraded
Passenger app : old one everyone had please delete it as no longer in use, New passenger app work has began as per previous post.

We really are determined to build a brand everyone likes from the customers to our drivers.

You will be able to also see previous bookings you've had in the past.
Ease of being able to track your driver
And make life easy save your home address and work address.

We are aware voice AI has been a little bit of a pain today and we have been monitoring this which we will constantly b doing ( due to it still being in beta (testing) phase ) , it needs time to adjust and learn and we will continue to improve it. And remember when it does take your call you can simply hang up and call us back.

Web booking system is being used very regular now this however will be offline for a short time today and tonight so we can add some background fixes and updates.

Voice AI:

It's not a service you must use as it steps in if one of our drivers can't answer the phone. But by all means give it a try next time you call you may be surprised at just how good it is ( so far ) , once you place a booking via this system it will give you a price and if it's for a local hire please disregard the pricing the system gives you it will most likely say a couple quid more than your actual fare.

You call us on our landline
We can't answer right away
A message will tell you about the automated service. You can either hang up or go to our automated system
AI kicks in and will ask you for your name if not already saved in our system.
State pick up address and drop off address including time and date you want.
System will check availability
Confirm your booking and then automatically place your booking.

Again if you prefer to speak with us just hang up and try again.

Our web booking is also live and working almost perfectly
Work has started on our passenger apps and we hope to release some screenshots of this very soon.

After some work during the night and again this morning it looks like our AI voice system is nearing live trials.

If you call us and we are unable to answer you the system will pick up the call , we will have a message play to let you know AI Voice will be taking your call. If you don't want to try this please just hang up and call us back.

Anyone who uses this service please send us your feed back as it helps us to improve the system even more.

If you need to add a message to your booking for example you provide a postcode just ask to add a note to booking with your house name. You can also request a driver ( though it will only be in notes and we cannot always guarantee that driver )

This system will pick up the odd call later this morning / early afternoon and should be unlike anything else you've used out there hopefully 😂

Our ai voice system is still progressing well.

You book and if you want you can also say add a note : state your note such as house name in that specific postcode.

System will automatically add this note to your booking
It will remember your name
Adds your details and confirms everything

Price please ignore as we set meter for this anyway ( still work in progress )

We could see an early launch of this tonhelpnus all with phone systems. Though will not be case of you call and get this system it will be set to a new number we have giving you two choices.

Passenger app development we hope to see our first look test app release to a couple for testing purposes this weekend this app will be alot better to what we have had before and will come with online payments set up.

We don't stop when it comes to making this business even better and always looking at ways that we can improve.
