It has come to a point in our lives that we as a team
feel we need to have more down time, non of us are in the best of health and since Covid the taxis have never fully recovered, the introduction of uber and all the cross border taxis have had a huge impact on our work and Doncaster wide, the amount of taxis up for sale is incredible, so it’s being felt everywhere, joining uber wasn’t an option as you have to be available at peak times and that still wouldn’t work for us locally the result would be the same, the decision to lower the hours hasn’t been easy by any means and I’d just like to say,

1. If you have a regular booking don’t worry it’s been passed across to Abi’s mini cabs as of Sunday the 1st of February 2026. 01302 350020

2. Anyone we couldn’t help already are aware and will now have to find someone who can accommodate you, we are sorry for any inconvenience and if it’s a town taxi I suggest Donny cabs all Doncaster drivers on 01302 300133 all dbs checked and legal male and female drivers.

And lastly the most important bit myself,Allan, Sam, Dave, Linda, Nikki and Amanda would like to thank each and everyone of you for nearly 19 years of fun, laughter new friendships and just some of the happiest memories we all have so from the bottom of my heart thank you for all your support over the years it’s been an incredible journey. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Just had a call from one of our regular customers. We took him to DRI yesterday from Stainforth but had no availability when he rang for a return. Veezu charged him £21 from the hospital to Stainforth!!! He was angry it is more than twice our fare. Beware!!!

We are closing at 5pm 24-12 Christmas Eve and reopen on the 27-12 at 10am and will be closed from 5 pm on the 31st till 11am 1st of January 2026 sorry for any inconvenience but this is the first time in 39 years I’ve had a family Christmas and the drivers have decided to do the same and have a very much deserved family holidays we will be working in between and back fully open on the 1st of January 2026.

A massive thank you for all the support over the years and hope to keep your support well into 2026 and hoping I’m back to full health by then and a huge thank you for all the calls and messages I’ve had though out 2025 and my health issues, I’m still a way off and need more surgery through 2026 we will still be here and accommodating wherever possible so merry Christmas and a happy new year from all us at ky’s karz see you all in 2026 stay safe everyone ###x

Uber Doncaster lastnight
Picked up 4 fellas to take into town £9.80 and they booked the return for the same price and happy with that.
Return trip one of them wanted dropping a few miles further up and agreed with the driver a price still nothing wrong all happy the car then broke down in edenthorpe after a 30 minute wait one of his uber pals turned up wouldnt let them in his car without £25 up front so they paid it, when the guy who lived a few miles further on got to his house the driver demanded another £25 so what should have been maybe a tenner more than the original booking price cost them £58.60 for a ££20-£25 job oh I love a good uber robber keep it up boys keep it up .
