After a long board meeting with our marketing department (me and a cup of lukewarm coffee) we’ve decided to announce the latest additions to the A52 fleet

A Rolls Royce. A Bentley. A Ferrari. And apparently we now operate from a cruise terminal attached to an airport… somewhere. 🤔

Before anyone gets too excited, we haven’t suddenly become a Dubai or London based luxury transport empire overnight.

But it does raise a point.

It seems more and more companies are filling websites and social media with AI generated images of vehicles they don’t actually own, parked in places that don’t exist, creating the impression of a fleet or service that isn’t quite reality.

We’ve got nothing against a bit of creativity (as you can probably tell from the image 😂), but when it comes to booking your travel, we think "what you see is what you should get."

Every vehicle you see on the A52 Executive Cars website, page and social media is a real vehicle owned and operated by us or our very small group of curated, trustworthy and excellent colleagues. No stock fleet photos. No mystery cars. No “similar vehicle may arrive.”

If you book the BMW i7, the BMW i7 turns up.
If you book the Tesla, the Tesla turns up.
If you book the S-Class, that exact S-Class arrives.

No surprises... unless one day I really do buy the Ferrari.

Well I did it!

The me & dee charity charity 5K is officially done so have som pictures from the day :D

I ran the whole thing, set a new personal best for 5K, didn’t come first… but importantly I also didn’t come last 😄

And perhaps my proudest achievement of the day: I wasn’t overtaken by a bloke in a banana costume. I was, however, overtaken by a dad carrying his child on his shoulders… which has given me plenty to think about.

On a more serious note, thank you so much to everyone who supported this challenge. Friends, family, colleagues, clients and our fantastic chauffeur partners all got behind it.

Together we hit the incredible £1,000 mark, and I genuinely couldn’t be prouder of what the A52 family has helped achieve for Me & Dee Charity.

This all started with me struggling through Couch to 5K wondering if I’d ever make it to race day. To finish the event, complete the whole run and raise this amount for such a fantastic charity is something I’m incredibly proud of.

Oh and just to prove it ... theres a video of me finishing in the first comment 😂

5k day and I’m in my way to Tutbury, slightly excited, slightly nervous but determined to do it.

Play list chosen, running shorts ironed, pre run breakfast consumed and family ready to offer encouragement From the side lines.

£900 raised so far and still time to add to the total - wouldn’t it be amazing to hit £1k by then end of the Day 😍

People often only see the shiny car arriving outside or a quick airport collection, but there’s always a lot happening behind the scenes.

Over the last few days we've had weddings, Peak District days out, executive travel, airport runs, luggage Tetris, EV miles quietly piling up and journeys taking us all over the place.

Some days start before sunrise, some finish long after dark, and no two bookings are ever quite the same.

5K charity run in 3 days time… and the final training run is now done.

I’m not exactly brimming with confidence, but I’m a damn sight fitter than when I started this whole journey and I promise i'll make it around the course even if I have to crawl the last kilometre! 😅

Getting out for runs over the last couple of weeks has been difficult with work being absolutely full on at A52 Executive Cars, but I’ve squeezed in treadmill sessions where I could… and I may even have been spotted pacing around in my suit with purpose whilst waiting for clients.

So far we’ve raised a fantastic £735 for the wonderful Me & Dee Charity, which I’m genuinely so happy about. Hopefully it will help bring a few smiles and support the incredible hard work and dedication of everyone involved with the charity.

But can we push it a little higher before race day?

Go on… every pound really does make a difference ❤️

Please join us in welcoming Harshaka to the A52 Executive Cars team.

Our newest chauffeur joins us with a wealth of experience and plenty of enthusiasm. Having previously worked as a chauffeur in London, Harshaka has developed strong customer service skills alongside an excellent understanding of professional executive travel standards.

Harshaka joins A52 Executive Cars on a part-time basis and will be helping us continue to provide the high standards of chauffeur and airport transfer service our clients expect across Derby, Derbyshire and the East Midlands.

We’re delighted to have him on board and look forward to him meeting many of our clients over the coming months.
