We are pleased to announce a couple of changes to our route from Burton to Tutbury, commencing Monday 27th October.
From this date on, the route will no longer be the number 1, it will simply be known by its name The Tutbury Jinnie, and all buses will proudly display this on the destination screens for you to easily identify your bus.
There will also be a slight alteration to the route. Due to problems with parked cars along Bitham Lane at school times, we will now operate via Athlestan Way throughout the day, bringing a much needed transport link back to this large housing estate.
The final change is the introduction of additional journeys in the morning, planned with you in mind, aiming to get workers into Burton before 8am, and College and Sixth Form students into the town before 9am.
We feel these changes will help cement our commitment to providing a more passenger focused service, enabling people to leave their cars at home and take the bus to town and back.
