We’re getting ready … for Luscombe Castle Charity Day tomorrow … so much to see and do … and eat. So many amazing home baked cakes, plants, crafts, sweets, games to play including our very popular Wine or Water Stall … remember your sunscreen, water, cash (card payment can be used for the entrance and some stalls only). Please be mindful that parking is limited; it’s a beautiful walk up or park locally away from the grounds and hop on the shuttle bus. We can’t wait to see you 🚗🚙🚘

THE DAWLISH WATER ROTARY CLUB ASSEMBLY

It was a real honour to speak at our Dawlish Water Rotary Club Assembly as I prepare to take on the role of President from 1 July.

I paid tribute to our current President, Ed, our officers, committee chairs and all our members for their hard work, friendship and dedication over the past year. What makes our club special is not just what we achieve, but the spirit in which we do it – working together, supporting one another and enjoying genuine fellowship.

My theme for the coming year is "Working Together, Caring Locally." I believe Rotary is at its best when we collaborate – within our club and with local charities, schools, community groups and fellow Rotary clubs – to make a positive difference in people's lives.

As we move into the new Rotary year, my hope is that we continue to be a club that values every member, works in partnership with others, and remains committed to serving our local community while supporting important projects further afield. I'm looking forward to all we can achieve together.
