When asked where the lift was, I was told that they could not have one as it was a listed building.

Many places use that as an excuse. I am keen to see evidence that ProCook have tried. Cornwall Council is one which prioritises access over building status.

You can often change the interior very easily.

Discrimination against disabled people is everywhere.
