Seating 55 in Travel Star Eco upholstery on a 12-metre chassis, the two new Mercedes-Benz Tourismo coaches come equipped with at-seat USB charging sockets, armrests and footrests. The driver benefits from a heated seat with swivel functionality and a leather steering wheel for comfort.

Safety specification highlights include advanced driver-assist technology such as Active Brake Assist 6 Plus, Sideguard Assist 2 and Traffic Sign Assist.

With destination display systems and a factory-installed, power-operated wheelchair lift on both vehicles, as part of full PSVAR specification, greater passenger accessibility is ensured.

Power to the new Tourismo coaches is supplied by the Mercedes-Benz OM 470, 315 kW Euro VI engine with a ZF Ecolife 2 transmission.

The new Mercedes-Benz coaches delivered to Hodges Coaches were supplied by Mercedes-Benz Coach Sales at Daimler Buses UK Ltd.
