These Terms & Conditions are intended to ensure a professional, reliable, and transparent service for both our customers and Mr. XXL Transport Ltd.
By making a booking with us, you agree to the following terms.
1. Bookings & Payment
All journeys must be pre-booked.
Advance payment is required to secure your booking.
A booking is confirmed only once payment has been received.
2. Cancellations & Refunds
We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is fair and transparent:
More than 24 hours’ notice:
✔ Full refund or free reschedule.
12–24 hours’ notice:
✔ 50% refund or full credit towards a future booking.
Less than 12 hours’ notice or no-show:
❌ No refund.
This is due to driver and vehicle allocation already being arranged.
3. Amendments & Rescheduling
Booking changes are free when requested at least 24 hours in advance, subject to availability.
Changes within 12 hours of pickup may incur an adjustment fee.
4. Waiting Time
Waiting time beyond the agreed pickup time is chargeable.
Waiting is billed in 15-minute increments in accordance with our published rates.
5. Airport, Port & Station Transfers
Customers must provide accurate flight, ferry, or train details at the time of booking.
We monitor arrivals when details are supplied.
Delays outside our control do not qualify for refunds.
Additional waiting time beyond any included allowance may be chargeable.
6. Delays, No-Shows & Missed Pickups
A reasonable grace period is allowed at pickup locations.
Failure to attend the pickup without notice may result in the booking being cancelled without refund.
7. Vehicle Allocation & Pricing
Vehicles are supplied as booked or an equivalent alternative where necessary.
Larger vehicles (6-seater / 8-seater / WAV) are charged according to our pricing structure.
Prices are based on information provided at the time of booking.
Changes to journey details may result in price adjustments.
Obvious pricing errors may be corrected prior to travel.
8. Luggage Policy
Luggage must be suitable for the vehicle booked.
Excess, oversized, or undeclared luggage may require a larger vehicle or additional charge.
We are not responsible if luggage exceeds vehicle capacity.
9. Child Seats
Child seats must be requested at the time of booking.
Availability is subject to confirmation.
We are not liable if a child seat was not requested in advance.
10. Wheelchair & Mobility Equipment (WAV Bookings)
Wheelchair or mobility equipment must be declared at the time of booking.
Customers are responsible for ensuring equipment is suitable for safe loading and transport.
Undeclared or unsuitable equipment may result in refusal of service without refund.
11. Passenger Responsibility & Conduct
Passengers are responsible for their personal belongings.
Excessive intoxication, unsafe behaviour, or illegal activity may result in refusal or termination of service without refund.
Any damage, excessive mess, or misuse of the vehicle may incur additional cleaning or repair charges.
12. Safety & Seatbelts
All passengers must wear seatbelts where fitted.
We are not responsible for fines or penalties resulting from passenger non-compliance.
13. CCTV, Dashcam & Audio Recording
Vehicles may be fitted with CCTV and/or dash cameras for safety, insurance, and legal purposes.
Recordings are stored securely and accessed only when necessary.
14. Privacy & Data Protection (GDPR)
We collect only the personal data required to provide our services.
All data is handled in accordance with UK GDPR and Data Protection laws.
Personal information is never sold or shared, except where required by law or for service delivery.
15. Subcontracting
We may subcontract bookings to fully licensed and insured operators when necessary.
All subcontracted drivers comply with relevant licensing requirements.
16. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:
Severe weather
Road closures
Accidents
Government restrictions
17. Promotional Offers
Any promotions, discounts, or special offers are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time.
18. Complaints & Governing Law
Any complaints should be raised as soon as possible so we can address them promptly.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
19. Acceptance of Terms
By confirming a booking and making payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
