Carnwell Logistics began trading in 2022. As part of our expansion we require a full time Transporter Driver. We offer collection and delivery of vehicles all over the UK for a range of different clients from individual customers to multi-million pound businesses. Job Description:
As a Driver of one of our vehicle transporters, you will get the opportunity to travel to different parts of the country every working day, according to your pre-planned diary. You will have the freedom to earn without pressure while meeting some great people. As a driver, it will be your responsibility to complete a detailed inspection of each vehicle and the relative paperwork upon collection and delivery, and to safely load and unload them on to the transporter between specified locations.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
Full UK driving license with no penalty points, restrictions or convictions in the past 5 years
25 years or older
Comfortable driving large vehicles
Able to use a smartphone to travel between destinations
Must be able to work alone and think independently
Needs to be flexible to early mornings and late evenings
To be able to act professionally with a positive mindset
Location and Hours: You will be traveling the length and breadth of the country as part of your job, but you will be required to collect and deliver the transporter from Cheadle, Staffordshire, so being able to commute to this location is essential. We are offering 5 days per week, Monday to Friday (with the option to also work additional Saturdays if you wish) following a probation period.
Salary: As a driver you will be compensated based on the cars moved and driven miles completed. Based on a 5 day working week, you can expect an OTE of £25,000 P/A.
Additional: A key benefit for this role is the flexibility, although some jobs are time sensitive, the majority are not. As long as you complete the work in your diary by the end of the working day, you are free to start and finish as you choose. Its typical of our drivers to head out early in the morning to be done sooner in the afternoon. We will provide company uniforms, a workplace pension and holidays, and can help provide you with a smartphone if you'd prefer to not use your own. On site training will also be provided before starting, including how to load and unload a vehicle safely, to ensure you are 100% comfortable in your new roll.
