My family and I recently scattered the ashes of a loved one. It was, of course, a difficult day, but it felt peaceful and truly right thanks to the support of Jane and Robert. From the very first contact they were warm, reassuring, and incredibly kind. They were punctual, thoughtful throughout, and made us feel completely at ease.

The boat itself is gorgeous and beautifully maintained. We also had a 4‑year‑old with us, and both Jane and Robert were wonderful with her, which meant so much on an emotional day.

I highly recommend Swanning About Charters. They are exceptional, and we are deeply grateful for the care they showed our family.

Aww thank you so much. Ur service was absolutely brilliant. You made the process very easy to understand and put our minds at ease. The whole family were at ease. It was hard to see the ashes go in the water but the final process was required for Manjit to be at peace. 🙏🙏 we were lucky we had such an understanding couple like you and partner. Hi Jane and Robert, thank you for a lovely day, it was a lovely final farewell for our Dad. From the very first call with Jane, to the day itself, the whole process of scattering our Dad's ashes was handled with care and empathy, of which we couldn't have asked for anything more.

As a family, we are so grateful to have found Bob and Jane to help us carry out the last wishes of my Father.
From start to finish communication was handled so professionally, but more so, personably by both Jane and Bob. With so much experience, any questions we had were quickly answered. I rang Jane one morning and she talked me through the whole thing, offered up lots of advice and tips to help with everything.
On the day of our ashes ceremony, we were met at the gates by Jane and she took great care of us. Jane even went so far as to kindly offer to help prepare our water urn. Listen to Jane.. she knows her stuff. Forget all you read about different types of urns online or wherever, Jane will be able to tell you exactly how things work and give you some important advice on which to go with.
“Song and Dance” is a cracking vessel, in really great condition. Very comfortable and very high class.
Skipper Bob and Admiral Jane really looked after my family. Honestly after 5 minutes of meeting them they felt like an extension of the family. Jane was a very sympathetic and caring hostess to us and took wonderful care of everyone, especially my mum.
Skipper Bob was just as great, allowing the kids to sit up top and teaching them all about piloting a vessel, the workings of Radar, explaining how the flood gates worked.. all sorts.
This sounds like a strange thing to say, but my whole family came away from this experience really happy. A day which was full of nerves, emotion and potential sadness, was turned into an enjoyable positive experience we will cherish and look back on fondly, and this was in no short part, down to our hosts Bob and Jane. Thank you SO much. I would highly recommend.
