Snowed in? Thanks to our awesome drivers and the winter tyres we fit to all our cars, we are working hard as normal :)

We are operating a normal service but all passengers must wear a mask unless there is a medical exemption. A couple of our drivers have a medical exemption - if you must have a driver with a mask, please tell us at the time of booking :)

CONFIDENCE TO TRAVEL DURING COVID-19 - please take a moment to read, and share if you feel it would be useful to your friends :)

- All cars cleaned inside and out at least once per day.
- Non-Toxic Biological Cleaner used periodically on interior fabrics (designed to destroy bacteria, viruses etc on contact).
- Hard surfaces wiped down by drivers between jobs.
- We encourage passengers to sit in the back and to use PPE wherever they feel comfortable.
- Contactless Payment accepted in all cars (Google Pay, Apple Pay, credit and debit cards).

Need us for something else?

- We can collect pre-ordered and paid for shopping (eg: click and collect).
- We'll trust you to pay for essentials such as bread and milk when we drop them off.
- Ask us to collect your prescription and drop it off.
- Give us a care package or tasty cake and send it to friends and family.
- Send unaccompanied children safely between family members (All drivers hold an enhanced DBS and Safeguarding training).
- We can get you to work, and take your children to school.

If you are showing symptoms, our drivers have been instructed that they can refuse service. If this happens, please contact us and we will try to help you in another way.

Although our fantastic drivers managed to provide an unbroken 24/7 service through lockdown, we are now returning to normal service levels and fast response times.

We'd like to take this opportunity to thank our local community and the key workers who have looked after us. We look forward to driving you again!

Single Rate Bank Holiday! Because we are mainly transporting key-workers and the vulnerable, we are NOT increasing our prices on Good Friday, Easter Sunday or Easter Monday. Standard prices apply 24/7. Please share with anyone who may need us over the weekend :) ❤️

Important Announcement, please share: Open for essential journeys.

Following the announcement by the PM yesterday evening, we would like to give you a service update. As a transport provider we are NOT INCLUDED in the list of businesses instructed to close. However, we must take a responsible attitude to current events. We intend to support our local community through this time while ensuring we prioritise public health and driver safety.

All of our drivers are providing their service on a voluntary basis, none of them are required to be at work. They have been issued with gloves and may be wearing a face mask.

We ask you to consider if your journey is really necessary before making a booking with us.

We are prioritising the following groups:

* Supermarket, factory and pharmacy employees travelling to and from work.
* Hospital Staff, Patients, Blood Samples etc.
* Shopping runs for vulnerable people.
* Deliveries essentials to isolated communities.
* Airport transfers for those instructed to travel by their governments.

When travelling with us, we ask you to respect our drivers personal space. You will be within 2 metres of our driver in the vehicle, so please consider this risk before travelling. We prefer passengers to sit in the back (although will make exceptions for individuals with impaired mobility). We prefer a maximum of one passenger in the vehicle at any time (although will make exceptions if a child or vulnerable individual needs to be accompanied).

We are happy to suggest alternatives to travel where appropriate. For example, we could collect something for you to save you a two-way trip.

We're recruiting call handlers for an immediate start!

We are looking for another couple of part-time staff to join us to work in our busy control room, handling calls from our lovely customers.
We're looking for people with great computer skills, a warm and friendly telephone manner and ideally SOME experience in a customer service / customer facing role.

*You must be prepared to work nights – especially over weekends
* Be flexible for covering additional shifts
* Be able to work approximately 16 hours a week

Longleys is a nice environment to work in... we have a friendly office with a family atmosphere. Although we are an equal opportunities employer, we cannot deny that our decision making is influenced by the ability to make a great cup of tea.
