But a few people have been leaving abusive voicemails and losing temper with staff. Any abuse will not be tolerated and we have the right to refuse service to those individuals. Looking for New Driver to join us on a self-employed basis. We are aiming to expand our capacity. We are getting increasing interest from schools/businesses locally for our service, and have demand we cant meet. For both School transport and Airport runs. As well as late nights for Friday/Saturday evening work.

We are looking for drivers who are Smart, Reliable and Polite. With good customer service skills. Able to commit to team in a positive manner.

We also have large number of regular customers, and for this reason we want standards to be maintained for them.
We have the ability to provide a vehicle if necessary, or drivers can provide their own.
Drivers will need a Private Hire/Hackney Carriage licence from Wiltshire Council. Advice and assistance on how to get this can be provided by us

Main Conditions for Licence: -
• Over 25 Years old
• Having held a personal driving licence for minimum 3 Years
• Preferably little or no driving points on licence
• A clean criminal record.

Taxi Rules on Passenger Numbers.

Lately we've had several requests once a standard taxi turns up. for drivers to let extra passengers travel above the limit.

The Taxi plates clearly state the maximum number of passengers allowed. (4 for a standard car/ 6 for our larger vehicle)
This includes babies/children of any age, who we have been asked if they can sit on laps and not be counted.

To go above this limit is illegal and dangerous. The vehicle insurance is no longer valid in case of an accident, and the drivers licence put at risk.

Any company that is accepting of going over the limit should be reported to Wiltshire council, as it contravenes the licencing rules and puts passengers/children at risk.
