Hope everyone had a great carnival day and night and everyone managed to get home safe.

We had an idiot attack 1 of our taxis outside the Vault on Buxton Market Place around 0015 because there was no taxi available and all our taxis were out of town or on other jobs that couldn't be contacted by radio. So the idiot smashed the drivers wing mirror and verbally assaulted the driver.

Like all taxi firms, last night was so busy and waiting times long, if not pre-booked.

We regularly get asked by customers, how come there are no taxis available in Buxton?

Well this is part of the reason, there are plenty of taxis just lack of drivers as they don't want the hassle of being abused and assaulted.

Could we ask for everyone to share this so the person can contact us apologise and pay for the damage. I'll be asking a few businesses who have cctv then will go to the police if not contacted.

BTW a 'round house' is a sweeping kick
