In Loving Memory of Jenny Hargreaves
Passed away peacefully on Monday, 30th June 2025

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we at Prestige Chauffeurs Limited announce the passing of our beloved Jenny Hargreaves—a mother, grandmother, wife, friend, and an irreplaceable part of our company’s journey.

Jenny passed away peacefully on Monday, 30th June, after a brave and dignified battle with cancer. She faced every challenge with the same grace and quiet strength that defined her entire life.

From the very first day of Prestige Chauffeurs’ story, Jenny was there. Her son, Chris, founded the business, but it was Jenny who helped bring it to life—choosing the very first car, answering the phone, keeping the books in order, and offering constant encouragement. No task was ever too small or too big. She gave her all, not just for the success of the business, but because she believed in the people behind it.

Her care and commitment built more than a company—it built relationships. Jenny was the first point of contact for thousands of clients around the world. She made everyone feel like they were the only one. Whether it was early morning or late into the night, she was there—calm, capable, and endlessly kind. For nearly 30 years, she was the heart of Prestige Chauffeurs. Nothing was ever too much trouble.

Jenny retired in May 2024, and in August, fulfilled her long-held dream of retiring to the Scottish countryside with her loving husband, Bill. Though their time there was all too short, it was filled with peace, love, and the beauty she always cherished.

She leaves behind her devoted husband Bill, her loving children Chris, Nicola, and Tim, their partners and wives, David, Nicola and Vicky and her adored grandchildren Freya, Eleanor, Alice, Ethan, and Finley—each of whom made her eyes light up with pride.

Jenny will be missed more than words can say. By her family. By her friends. And by the countless clients who knew her as more than just a voice at the end of the phone—but as someone who genuinely cared.

Her funeral will take place in Scotland. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly invites donations to a cancer charity in Jenny’s memory, via the following Cancer Research UK Page

Jenny’s legacy lives on in every car that leaves our fleet, every client that still feels looked after, and every life she touched along the way.

Can be unsociable hours, including early mornings and evening work. Any applicant would have to undertake a Bury Private Hire Licence application.

For insurance reasons, applicants must be 30 or over or under 65.

We wanted to publicly thank Bill and Jenny for their dedicated services over the last 28 years.

Jenny, retired at the end of May and Bill will finally hang up his chauffeur cap in the coming weeks.

On the 10th December 1996, Prestige Chauffeurs™ was founded. We started as a small family business, growing our fleet over the years, employing a number of wonderful Chauffeurs.

Over the years we have met amazing clients, travelled the UK and Europe. We have had great times and difficult ones, including Covid.

Over the past 28 years, Jenny had been the first point of contact for clients and became an integral part of the company, being there for clients 24/7.

Bill's passion for cars, love of driving and working with clients was also integral in building long lasting relationships with clients, both in his role as Marketing Director and chauffeur.

As Bill and Jenny prepare for their new adventures in retirement, we wish them all the best. Prestige Chauffeurs will continue their legacy in providing clients with a professional chauffeur services over coming years and decades.
