Chasewater Railway and Museum is a preserved steam railway in the heart of Chasewater Country park, parts of which are an area of outstanding natural beauty, home to a large selection of heritage Steam & diesel locos, carriages and rolling stock. We are located in Chasewater Country Park, just off the southbound A5 at Brownhills West and the Railway is conveniently placed for visitors from every p

art of the country. With its policy of low-cost fares and membership fees, it offers excellent value for money for railway enthusiasts and other visitors alike. The Railway operates passenger trains from its headquarters at Brownhills West to Chasetown, with intermediate stations at Norton Lakeside and Chasewater Heaths. A round trip of nearly 4 miles takes about 45 minutes. Day Rover tickets offer unlimited travel on all trains operating on the day of issue. All of our trains, stations and other facilities (including the refreshment rooms and museum) are accessible for visitors with mobility difficulties

As we continue to look forward to our third annual Rail and Ale, we are pleased to announce some more breweries we have lined up!

Green Duck Beer Co.
An independent microbrewery founded in 2013, focusing on producing innovative, hop‑forward ales. Operating out of an industrial unit in Stourbridge, the brewery features a semi‑automated 20HL brewhouse and invested in its own canning line in 2020 to expand its reach beyond local cask distribution.

Kynn Brew
An independent nano‑brewery based in Birmingham that specialises in small‑batch, experimental beers. Operating on a modest 300‑litre kit, they focus on refining classic styles such as the Hellakynn Helles lager and the hazy Idle Bones pale ale. They’re known for incorporating local ingredients to create complex, character‑filled beers.

Come and find your new favourite on the bar — and show off their logo on our T‑shirts, now available to pre‑order at:

🍻🎶 6 Weeks To Go! 🎶🍻
The countdown is officially on — just 6 weeks until the Chasewater Railway Rail & Ale Festival 2026!

We’re kicking things up a notch this year by teasing our music line‑up, returning with a full stage, great atmosphere, and a mix of brand‑new festival artists - as well and some returning favourties!

With live music from 12pm each day, covering a wide range of styles, we’re expecting the dance floor to be full once the bar starts flowing. And speaking of the bar…
You’ll find 13 breweries, ciders, 0% options and more — the perfect pairing for a weekend of great tunes and good company.

🎤 Festival Kick‑Off — Friday 3rd July
We’re opening the weekend with:
• FREE entry from 5pm
• Open Mic from 6–9pm

If you — or someone you know — has a great voice, plays guitar, or just loves performing, we’d love to hear from you. Get in touch and take the stage to help us launch the festival in style.

Ready for the music reveal? Keep an eye on our socials -it’s coming soon… stay tuned!
