It’s the end of an era as we bid farewell to our big cat, the main chauffeur car for DB Executive Travel & Wedding Cars.

We all remember poignant moments, especially the first and the last, don’t we?
Well, this morning is my final airport transfer to LHR as I provide our chauffeur services for one of our many regular valued clients as I hang up the professional driving keys myself next week.
I do this with a bitter sweet feeling, recognising that I have built up DB Executive Travel & Wedding Cars over the past 7 years, but also thankful that our friends and colleagues at StarPrime Chauffeurs, are going to continue the brand as well as taking on most of our valued clients, whilst developing the business further. For the interim period, I will still be involved with them, but not doing any more of the driving.
For me, life is about looking after my wife more, as she struggles with disability, and also continuing to help people set up their own business alongside their existing employ or business, allowing them to build monthly passive residual income as I have done, but helping other people earn and save money.

After 7 years, we are very pleased to announce that we are expanding our services, by collaborating with our friends Daniel Genov and Georgi Hristov of StarPrime Chauffeurs, silver winners at the QSI Drivers Awards in 2022, and the expectation is high that there will be more good news for them later this year.
This also gives me the opportunity to move away from service delivery behind the wheel, and focus on oversight, coaching and mentoring, StarPrime as they expand further into the Wedding Car services industry, benefiting from the experience and high reputation that DB Executive Travel & Wedding Cars have built over the years.
In addition, I will also be able to gradually retire, knowing that our clients are looked after well into the future with a brand that they have become comfortable with.
More importantly, this change will enable me to help my dear wife whose disability seems to be increasing. I can also focus more on our part time home based business where we help other people also develop an extra income stream alongside their current role.
We look forward to seeing DB Executive Travel & Wedding Cars grow further along with StarPrime Chauffeurs, in the knowledge that our valued clients will be well looked after, long after I no longer provide the service in the driver seat personally.

Arrived at T5, all waxed up and ready for our clients plane that is an hour late.
We care which is why I arrived in time in case they landed earlier than expected (it does happen!), and with a pristine big cat inside and out.
I read earlier today that having monthly passive residual income of £300 is the same as 2% interest on a deposit of £180,000.
Also residual of £1,000 is like £600,000 in the bank.
What amount of residual income would be useful to you? It’s worth thinking about.

After decades working in Finance and IT, Dave Barnes decided to take a leap of faith and set up his own business in July 2016. For years he had experienced appalling service from many taxi firms. He wanted to create a luxury chauffeur service that put the needs of the clients first.
To begin with, he created DB Wedding Cars (you can find out all about that business adventure at @dbweddings). After a a few months of success, Dave decided to branch out into executive travel. In April 2017 Dave and the Jaguar XFS were officially licensed to be a ‘private hire chauffeur’ and a ‘private hire car’. DB Executive Travel was born!
Since then we have provided executive travel for many different people who have required transport for; all-day business travel (allowing them to redeem their travel time), special events, airport/seaport transfers, proms and many other journeys.
No matter who is travelling in the back of the car, Dave always maintains strict confidentiality and his driving is done in a calm, safe manner (he has qualified as an IAM Master Driver). The car is kept to impeccably clean standards, inside and out.
