Transport Planner wanted
Full Job Description

John Dinham Transport Ltd is looking for an experienced transport planner to join their ever growing team in Avonmouth. The selected candidate will be responsible for planning and overseeing our daily traffic schedule of 40 trucks running day and night, and also some pallet network collections and deliveries.

Job Role will include:

Re-source planning.
Planning of drivers schedules.
Maximizing truck fill and efficiency.
Sourcing backloads.
Your key skills should include:

Having good knowledge of EU driver regulations
Having a good knowledge of the UK road network.
Being efficient at building and maintaining relationships with customers.
Being able to work to strict time schedules.
Having good IT skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Being self motivated and driven to succeed.
You will be working from our offices in Avonmouth and will need to work some Saturday / Sunday mornings to oversee the weekend schedules. This could be done from home and we will supply a company laptop. Through busy periods there will be the need to work longer hours to ensure that customer expectations are met.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £28,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
