🚖We are interested in your views on licensed vehicle services and in particular, hackney carriage services provided throughout the Council area.

Hackney carriages are taxis that can be hailed on the street and use taxi ranks whilst private hire vehicles are booked in advance via a licenced private hire operator.

Are you satisfied with the current services? Do they meet your needs? What's good? What's not so good? We are interested in your views.

The Council have commissioned consultants, LVSA , to undertake an independent survey of demand for Hackney carriage services. This type of survey is required periodically, in accordance with Department for Transport guidance.

LVSA have prepared an online survey to enable the public to provide their opinions. Please complete the online survey to ensure your views are noted, it should not take more than 5 minutes.
