Happy new year to you all.

Normally wouldn’t do this but feel the need to rant!

The roads around here as we all know are dreadful. This morning (4am) I had to change yet another wheel on the side of the road (with passengers on board) due to pot holes. That’s four now in less than two months. Not to mention the two suspension arms and four shock absorbers in the last 5 months!!! (Total of 20 tyres in the last 12 months)

And then you read on Facebook people complaining about the “ridiculous “ prices taxi drivers charge for a “15 minute journey” 😡.

Highways….. sort the roads out! What do we pay our tax for?
Bring back road fund licence that actually paid for road maintenance rather than vehicle emissions tax that just seems to vanish into thin air.

And for those that don’t like taxi prices, please take a moment to think about what we drivers have to spend to keep you moving around.

Licenses
Fuel
Maintenance

And May I just take this opportunity to THANK all of my loyal and lovely customers. YOU are the reason I am still doing this!!

The road outside Peacocn Cars HQ is closed. Wethersfield to Shalford. You CANNOT get through so please use alternative route if you are heading to Braintree. Burst water main.
