🚛 HGV Class 1 Driver – Flatbed (No Sheeting) – Family-Run Company 🚛
We are a friendly, family-run business specialising in flatbed transport for the construction industry. We’re looking for reliable and professional HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our team.

The Role:
- Carrying out general driving duties for flatbed deliveries
- Ensuring compliance with vehicle, legal, and pedestrian safety regulations
- Liaising with colleagues, site staff, and transport managers
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and accurate completion of paperwork for each delivery
- 3-5 Nights out (Monday to Friday)
- Opportunity for weekend work

Requirements:
- Full UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Experience with flatbed work preferred (training available)
- Professional, safe and dependable approach

*VACANCY – TRANSPORT PLANNER & ADMIN ASSISTANT*

We are looking to recruit a Transport planner and admin assistant based at our office in Clayton Le Dale.
The position is full-time, Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm. We offer competitive salaries which will be discussed during the interview stage.

The ideal applicant will:
· Preferably have experience within the transport industry, however full training will be provided
· A willingness to learn
· A polite and organised individual
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Good IT literacy
· Ability to work well in a fast paced/ever changing environment
· Ability to manage own workload to a high standard
· Ability to assist in achieving organisational goals

The role will include:
- Assisting the Transport Manager with planning of jobs
- To build a good rapport with drivers, customers and colleagues
- Completing booking forms for sites
- Tacho downloads
- Recording & updating haulier O licenses & insurance documents
- Retrieving order numbers from customers for work that has been completed & updating the system
- Checking and chasing PODs
- Liaising with customers and their enquiries
- General administrative duties
- Any other duty, as reasonably requested by management

*VACANCY - TRANSPORT ADMIN ASSISTANT*

We are looking to recruit an administrative assistant to cover Maternity Leave based at our office in Clayton Le Dale.

The position is part-time (around 20 hours per week) hours are flexible and dependant on you and can be discussed at the interview. Salary will also be discussed at the interview stage. This may lead to a permanent position dependant on success of cover.

The ideal applicant will have:

- Previous office experience
- Excellent computer skills
- Great attention to detail
- An ability to communicate in a professional and courteous manner
- An ability to work within a busy team
- Experience of using Microsoft

The role will include:

- Answering the telephone
- Inputting data into our system
- Chasing paperwork from customers
- Flexible working with other departments
- Provide support to the transport managers
- Maintaining and updating spreadsheets
- Liaising with customers, suppliers and drivers
- Dealing with general enquiries by email and telephone
- General administrative duties
- Any other duty, as reasonably requested by management
