🚕 WE’RE HIRING – PART-TIME TAXI OPERATOR 🚕
Town Taxis Bexhill is looking for a reliable and confident Taxi Operator/Controller to join our busy office team.
📍 Location: Bexhill-on-Sea
⏰ Hours: 16 hours per week
💼 Position: Part-Time
As a Taxi Operator, you will play an important role in the day-to-day running of our busy taxi office.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Taking and managing customer bookings
* Answering telephone enquiries professionally
* Dispatching and allocating jobs to drivers
* Monitoring live bookings and driver availability
* Assisting customers with queries and booking updates
* Using our taxi dispatch system
* Dealing with drivers and communicating important information
* Handling busy periods calmly and efficiently
* Providing excellent customer service at all times
We are looking for someone who is:
✔️ Reliable and punctual
✔️ Confident communicating with customers and drivers
✔️ Able to work well under pressure
✔️ Comfortable using computers and learning new systems
✔️ Organised and able to multitask
✔️ Friendly, professional and a good team player
Previous taxi office or dispatch experience would be an advantage, but full training can be provided for the right person.
