This was the post we put on about the Belfast City Marathon !!
The marathon passes our office/ training centre on Sunday 3rd May this year.
Trading continues as it does 52 weeks a year.
No one, not even Police can stop you going to work, which is what you are doing.
Anyone has difficulty pls call me on 07714207780 and I will rescue you, and have a topical conversation with a jobs worth.

Happy New Year , new years intentions for all.
As most of you know our CPC classes run for 52 weeks a year , every year. Including this year.
Same staff, bit older but another years experience though don’t know if any wiser.
Highly recommend that you all start planning your CPC training early and well in advance before your renewal. Especially if you have medical issues or a colourful past lol.
Classes are dual registered for taxi and bus/lorry combinations. So 7 hours for your taxi and bus/lorry on the same day.

Hi all. I have booked a room in Crumlin Rd gaol for 7pm on Wednesday evening to get affected drivers together and move forward as one.
Tomorrow morning I will try and get a meeting with EA on Thursday to put our proposals forward. A united front is needed to strongly negotiate a formula to counter the letter and for next September. Planning is what is needed and creating a system which is acceptable to all.

Folks , this needs a united reply front. From all who directly received a letter. They as usual Govt dept , want to divide and conquer. Let’s be as one.
This is what we did with the bus/coach industry in COVID. And negotiated ££ to keep the industry alive.

So as an industry we need to band together and resist any reduction in rates per run. Rem in Sept they were happy with them all, as they agreed and awarded the prices per run / mile.
Lobby your MLA and ask will EA or any other given supplier be reducing invoices for 10% ?
The next stage will be resisting them until the renewal date of YOUR contract.

I would propose an open meeting on Wednesday evening at 7 pm.
A central venue to be decided.
Entry by Production of your TDL and letter.
I will gladly front it as I have no runs to loose.
