FACE COVERINGS MANDATORY FOR PASSENGERS BUT NOT DRIVERS IN TAXIS AND PRIVATE HIRE VEHICLES IN ENGLAND FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT ...

Taxi and private hire passengers will be required by law to wear a face covering from midnight tonight.
The penalty for failing to cover your face will be doubled from £100 to £200.

Department for Transport have just confirmed that taxi and private hire drivers hire DO NOT have to wear a facemask.

However we recommend that you do wear one when passengers are in your vehicle...

5am - 12pm Sunday to Thursday
Friday and Saturday our office will be open 24 hours through the night.

A ‘duty driver’ is also available by phone outside of the office hours on 01268 272727

In office hours customers can now use our new app to book a taxi 😃📲 as well as call the office

⭐️If you are wearing a mask all our drivers have one available if you require them to wear one also.

⭐️We ask that you sit in the back and open the window to ensure everyone is safe.

⭐️ all our cars can now also take contactless payments

⭐️Some of our cars come with a screen to help prevent the spread of Covid 19 and if you prefer to use one of these cars please ask one of our helpful staff on
