Another low emissions vehicle is joining the fleet, we are expecting 2 of these cars to improve our fleet and also cut emissions. Sadly full electric vehicles are still a way off due to the milage taxis cover but we will be looking at that as and when infrastucture allows.

We have supported this for a good few years now and again we will be supporting the event this year. The Melvin Tatt Annual Memorial Poker Tournament will take place on the 22nd Feb 2026 at Gawber Road WMC. This started as an event to remember those in the poker scene who sadly are no longer with us and is now an event that not only celebrates the ones weve lost but also raises good money for local charity BIADS (Barnsley Independent Alzheimer’s and Dementia Support). The event will also support a charity of the winners choice.

If you want to attend the event starts at 2pm, first registration 1330, feel free to just turn up. The last entry time is 1700.

Youll have to get to the free buffet quickly to beat our Donald.
